April 1st 2026

Well here we are, we made it through the storm. Once again, the Lord has made a way. In Isaiah 43:19 God says: "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Has God come through for you today, if so, sing to Him a new song!

Psalms 96

Psalms 96 implores us to "sing to Him a new song". Take a moment and look around; is He worthy to be praised? If so, begin to worship Him now and watch in that moment all of the cares of this world melt away. If only for a moment, singing praises unto the Lord dispells the affliction and adversity of the day.

When we Honor the Lord

When we praise and worship the Creator of all things, its really for us. Our worship takes our minds and hearts off of the present circumstance and fixes our eyes on what really matters, Jesus Christ. For He is the Truth, the Way and the Life. - John 14:6.

Adversity & Affliction

Though we deal with adversity and affliction, our Teacher is not far off. Isaiah 30:20-21 tells us our Teacher, will not be hidden from us. This scripture promises that our ears will hear a word behind us saying, "This is the way, walk in it.". Fix your eyes on Jesus, for He is the way, and what He taught us while He was here was Love & Forgiveness.

The Alter

So whatever it is you are dealing with today, this week or anxiety for this upcoming month, bring it to Jesus. Lay it at His feet. Kneel before His throne, lay it at His alter, then be silent, and allow Him to speak. He will tell you that His grace is sufficient, He will tell you to love your neighbor and your enemy, and to forgive those that have hurt you.

He Cares for You

This is the way to true peace, joy, and contentment, but it starts with humility. The humility to bring it to the the Father of Lights, to the Prince of Peace, and to the lover of your Soul. Sing a song of praise to the Father today, confess of your sin, and lay all of your cares at His feet, for He cares about you. - 1st Peter 5:6-7
