The Mamba Mentality

The Mamba Mentality showed us the results of discipline, and diligence. Respect for the craft. Too often we throw around the term "hard work". Yet when the work is purposeful, and fulfilling, it's not hard. The desire originates from a different place. A bigger place. No more is it about the final result, it becomes more about the process, the moments, and each step to the goal. Denzel Washington said "Dream big — but remember dreams without goals are just dreams, and they ultimately fuel disappointment." Kobe understood this, and didn't let anything get in the way of his perceived basketball greatness. Not high school girlfriends, not sexual assault court cases, not even feuds with one of the biggest and best basketball players of all time in Shaquille O'Neal. Kobe stayed focused. Up at 4 am everyday for over 20 years. This is the price of greatness. The Mamba Mentality manifested this for all of us to see in real time. Thanq Kobe Bryant, RIP.
